How much does it costs for a typical 20 lb. propane gas tank?

*Note: Preferably those purchased at gas stations and WalMart stores for outdoor grilling.

Probably about $40 or $50...Try and find one of the new Manchester ones. They have an actual float gauge that tells you how much fuel you have left. None of the useless stickers or inline gauges are accurate, these floats are!

are you sure it has gass? Try opening the release valve on the side. Actually you should take the tank back to where you had it filled and they can weight it and then give you a new tank. What ever is safest.
