Yes, more than once. And twice I left my car running in a parking lot for several hours. And I also broke the key off in the ignition.

I hate having to call a locksmith, but one time a cop showed up, so it was free.

About 4 years ago, I left my keys in the ignition and locked the doors. It was on "accessory" so the battery was still on. Good thing the spare key was about a mile away from where I worked at the time.

Yes, once. Had to go to a nearby car workshop and use their phone to ring my mother and ask her to bring the spare set. My daughter was locked in the car as well that day.

I'm doomed to have car problems. I most definitely have. The most recent time, I gave my sister (who was with me) the "spare" to my car. We ran into the gas station to get coffee, and I realized, I didn't have the spare with me. I gave her my only key and she locked it in the car. FML

Oh my god my boyfriend did that a few weeks ago in oakland. Triple A was taking forever and it soon became cold and dark. I was in a tank top and shorts and he went across the street to a house and came back with a jacket for me to wear.
