Do whole house humidifiers promote mold?

I am also wondering if it leaves the vents damp which can cause bacterial growth. Thanks

    Well, if you turn your place into a rain forest then sure. Moisture promotes the growth for a lot of things.

    Moisture = life

    Just depends on how much moisture you're talking about.

    wow

    umm yeah taking moisture out of the air will prevent mold from growing. Any water or damp surfaces are a breading ground for bacteria and growth
