Braces and teeth extractions?

Will it hurt if i get my braces on first, then get my first two top bicuspids extracted? I don't know if my ortho is going to wait a couple weeks till he extracts my teeth or just do it the following week.

Anyways, is it better to have braces first or my teeth extracted first?

Update:

Thanks everyone. Cause my ortho is saying he's gonna put my braces on and just not put a bracket on it then they're going to extract it. It sounds difficult though.

It doesn't really matter. I got my braces on, then about 2 1/2 years later my ortho tells me I need 4 teeth pulled. All they need to do is take the wire off, then after the teeth are out you just go back and they put the wire back on. It's really not a big deal.

From going through this: get your teeth pulled out 1st! I had to have 4 pulled and then had braces on, and no big deal. I had a friend that got braces in high school and then had to have a few teeth pulled and they had to take all the wires and everything off, and then the bracket off to even get to the tooth.. but she healed quickly.. good luck

I think it would be better and easier to get your teeth extracted first
