6:159: As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

[45:28] You will see every community kneeling. Every community will be called to view their record. Today, you get paid for everything you have done.

[45:29] This is our record; it utters the truth about you. We have been recording everything you did.

The whole sect thing is very shady. The more you become involved the more you move farther away from Islam. I'm all for the peace, no sunni, no shiaa, no quranist, JUST MUSLIM. Exactly how our Prophet (saw) claimed himself to be. Understand the Quran and follow the sunnah of the Prophet (saw) that is the only way to gain entrance to Heaven.

The followers of sects will have a dozen reasons why they are not part of a sect, the chief reason being that since they are "the" true Muslims, all the others belong to sects or that since everybody else is wrong, they need a label to distinguish themselves from the others.

The primary reason of joining a sect is that you start giving more importance to a "man" than accept God's clear words as per Quran 6:159. and his promise that Quran is easy to remember and understand.

Mind you each individual is responsible for understanding the revelation of God and nobody will be able to give him/her a free pass because they were misled by so and so Shaikh

  • Indeed it does state that breaking up into sects is wrong. There is also a hadith that states that the Muslims will break up into 73 sects, all of which will be in the hellfire except one. That one is the one which strictly adheres to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Allah knows best.

    Yes, it does.

The unity of the Muslims is an extremely important part of Islam.

'...and hold fast to the rope of Allah and do not be divided." (Qur'an 3:103)'

As for the dislike component: We hate that which contradicts the Qur'aan and Sunnah. And it is not the minor matters alongside with Mut'ah which we hate the Rawaafidh for. that's for the Shirk that's contained interior the perception of Imaamiyyah, the Shirk of the perception of al-Bada' and the shirk interior the perception of the tahreef of the Qur'aan and the Kufr of transforming into takfeer of the Sahaabah and a great style of alternative matters with their ideals. it is not that Ahlus Sunnah have hate for the Shee'ah because of the fact they're Iraaqis or that they venerate Ahlul Bayt. particularly it is the Rafdh which we hate, the rejection of the Sahaabah and the making Takfeer of them. Imaam Aboo Bakr al-Khallaal reported in his Sunnah (2/557) from Abee Bakr al-Maaroodhee who reported that Maalik bin Anas mentioned: ???? ???? ????? ????? ??? ???? ???? ???? ??? ??? ??? ?? ??? ???? ?? ??????? ((the single that reviles the companions of the Prophet (??? ???? ???? ????) does not have any share or element in Islaam)) And as for killing them: Then we particularly supply da'wah to them. yet as for people who combat us and raise the sword against us like they tried to do to Shaykh 'Alee al Hudhayfee and prefer how they tried to do it to Shaykh Muqbil bin Haadee and how they did it with Shaykh Ihsaan Illaahi and different than them... then those human beings in the event that they proceed to be upon Kufr and Shirk we ask Allaah to lead them or destroy their backs.

Qur'an clearly forbids sectism, school of thoughts, grouping, and wearing a labels.

We are just Muslims as per last verse of Sura Al-Hajj. :)

    Dua & Ramadan Mubarak :)

Lets just say...when someone asks me what sect I am in I say 'I am not Sunni, I am not Shia, I am not Salafi, I am not Sufi...bear witness, I am a Muslim'

There seems to be some contradiction, on one hand it says no sects then it says all communities ie sects!
