Since they are both the same manufacturer, then I would do this. Connect the HT system with the TV via the HDMI or RGB (component cables) If you have digital cable TV, and your Samsung TV has an optical audio out ( aka multi channel digital out) and the receiver on the cinema system also has this, connect the two using a optivcal cable (aka TOS Link). This will (should) allow for any TV shows broadcast in surround, to have the sound go from the TV to the receiver so you can hear the TV channels in surround as well as DVDs. Use the remote for the HT system to control everything as the remote usually has function controls for TVs as well as the audio system. By having mutiple units from the same manufacturer, you minimize the amount of cables running back and forth from the TV and other things....

Simply connect the two together with a decent HDMI cable and thats all you need to do for the picture.

For the Audio, connect them with an optical cable and thats all you need to do.
