What is the best clothing option for babies that are tall and thin?

My daughter is 5 months and 27.5 inches. However, she only weight 15 lbs. Whenever I buy clothes to accommodate her height, they hang on her? Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is she just fated to wear baggy clothes for the time being!

Get something like these so you can buy smaller onesies but still make them longer for your LO!

My kid is the exact same size (literally).

You might also try to find one brand that fits your child well. My kiddo has a long torso, and I've found that going one with the size bracket above her age (as in when she was 5 months, doing 6-9 month clothing) from Carters worked. Brands like Gerber, Gymboree, and Gap all seemed to be on the shorter torso side so I avoid them.

Once you get to 12 month and above pants, start looking for adjustable waistbands. I know Carter's has these and have found them in the George line at Wal-Mart - though I have to say that the George pants run short. At six months, the 12 month pants were too short. :-(

Other than that, avoid pants in favor of one-piece outfits. It doesn't really matter if it's a little baggy as long as it's not falling off!

I have the same problem with my son. He is tall and skinny, so pants that fit in the length are too loose and fall down. But then with overalls, they always seem to be too short in the crotch or too long in the legs(but perfect in the crotch). It's a lost cause lol. I usually end up putting him in pants and pulling them back up all day long. He is almost 18 months and his waist can fit a size 3-6 month pants but length he needs 18 months. He is 21lbs. and 32 inches.
