Does anyone else agree with me that 21st century breakdown is Green Days best album?
yup, I think its better than dookie, nimrod and kerplunk....but thats just me :D
I personally think that 21st century breakdown is better than American Idiot and their other albums. The story about Christian and Gloria is awesome. I think the real reason why I like this album is because of how each song is unique in its own way.
so tell me what you think of 21st century breakdown and what Green Day album do you like the most??????

I love 21st Century Breakdown. The lyrics are amazing and I can't believe how they come up with their stuff. Billie Joe's mind is phenomenal!
But it's not my favorite album, it's up there, but Dookie, Nimrod and Warning come first.

HELL YES! While their older stuff is timelessly fun and great to sing with friends, 21st Century Breakdown is Green Day's best album ever. The intro "Song of the Century" is a nice way to start the album, which is immediately followed by their most complex and amazing song "21st Century Breakdown". The sixteen other songs rank among Green Day's greatest, including the intense "Horseshoes and Handgrenades", the epic "American Eulogy", the awesome "East Jesus Nowhere", the amazing "Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl)", the saddening "Restless Heart Syndrome", and more! The album also gave us their first ballad, "Last Night on Earth".
Green Day has made this album another concept album, vaguely telling the story of a young couple struggling with post-Bush America. Songs like "Christian's Inferno" and "Viva La Gloria!" are among those in the album that further develop the story, though there hardly is one. But that's no major problem because the songs are excellent! In my opinion, 21st Century Breakdown is one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) rock albums of the decade.

no, sorry... their old stuff is the best :)
and ignoring the older stuff I even think American Idiot is better than 21st Century Breakdown... it's not bad as a bit of a concept album, but just a bit too mainstream I think :)
Still has some good songs though

as much as i love 21st century breakdown....i really love their album Nimrod...good song good sound and just classic green day. Ive seen alot of people say they dont like green day anymore because they hate the new stuff and only like the old stuff..personally i think both are great..times change its not the 90's anymore..gotta fit music to time period and bands evolve...but anyways Green Day is awesome!!!

I listened to the 21st century album and all I kept thinking was "where is the rock?" I mean seriously, it's basically ballad after ballad with only two seemingly good rock songs.
what!!!!!! have you not heard of dookie? nimrod? kerplunk?

It jogs my memory a lot of their final album American fool. that's a CD which will enhance on the fan for my area. I listened to it the 1st time by way of and develop into like "Eh.." however the 2nd time i found extra songs I enjoyed. the two way, they're insanely proficient.
