Fantasy Baseball trade: keeper league?
Mark Tiexeira, Carl Crawford & Victor Martinez for Hanley Ramirez & Justin Morneau.
My current keepers are:
Victor Martinez C
Mark Tiexeira 1B
Ian Kinsler 2B
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Carl Crawford OF
Matt Kemp OF
If I were to complete this deal I would replace Tiex with Morneau and have a keeper SS which I feel is invaluable and is my goal in proposing this trade. I'll have a tough time coming up with a 6th keeper out of my roster, but acquiring Hanley I feel is worth it. Vazquez, Burnett, Werth, M.Young are my next best players.

Since it's a keeper league I'd do it. Texeria for Morneau is pretty even but Morneau has a little more upside. Crawford is declining and there's plenty of outfielders available including Jason Werth who you have already. The only negative of the trade is losing Martinez and not picking up another catcher. There's so few catchers doing well this year.

Tiexeira, Crawford, and Martinez are worth getting or holding onto in my opinion.

i agree you're giving up way too much for a SS even if its hanley. with the numbers you're getting out of your other keepers try and go get a guy like bartlett and keep the current keepers you have. or maybe pick up a guy like andrus from TX or cabrera from CLE
