Medicine with these GCSEs?

Hello,

I got 6 As and 6 Bs. I do feel a little disappointed, but I'm so lazy, I knew if I tried harder I could do so much better. Anyway, I wanted to know if I could do Medicine with these results, as most Medical students have mostly A*s.

Thanks

that is excellent especially since you had 12 subjects- you should find 6th year easier to cope with as there is only 3-4 subjects to work on and they'll all be subjects you want to do!!!! medicine is tricky but i don't think they really take gcse's into consideration its your A-levels especially your AS grades which will go on your ucas application that are most important also extra-curriculars play a big part in getting into your course!!! so get working for your a-levels and put your gcse's behind you- its all done now and you should be proud of your accomplishments!!!

    good luck in the future!!!!

Firstly, well done on your results, you've done really well. And in answer to your question, you can still get to do medicine, because most universities look at your A level grades not GCSEs. So make sure you work really hard for your A levels and you should be accepted to do medicine, you would usually need 3 or 4 As in sciences and maths to do medicine, so good luck =)

At A level do Chemistry and Biology, ur GCSEs should be good enough to let you do these A levels

you got 12 GCSE's at a-b grades which is GREAT! you can get into college with these results and do your a-levels if you get AAA or AAB you can get into university. but you also have to do extra curriculum activities :)

    good luck
