Genuis IQ gives you grant money, right?

My boyfriend has a 172 IQ. From what I have been told you can get grant money to study or for college if your IQ is above 160. He's working a dead-end job just to pay the bills now; I want him to go to college.

Any grant information provided would be wonderful and very much appreciated. We live in California and are in our twenties.

Update:

I work in a financial aid office. I'm not really asking about the normal student loans; I know how they work. Academic Competitiveness doesn't apply for him. (It's a very small grant anyway.)

Financial aid offices don't help you find grants normally aside the Pell and SEOG.

NO, IQ has nothing to do with student loans, aid or scholarship. What colleges want to see is a dedicated student with good grades (provide high school transcript) and with an exemplary student, they will sometimes offer a scholarship.

alternatively, he may be eligible for Pell grants or student loans. He should consult with the financial aid office of his college of choice.
