My iPod touch is stuck on a white screen, how can I fix this? The power-off button isn't working.?
I typed in my password, and it froze. So I tried to restart it by holding down the power-off button. Then I just got a white screen, but it turns black when I hit the power-off button once.

hold the center button and menu button until screen reboots

your best bet is to connect it to itunes and restore it from there. That is the safest way if none of the buttons are working on it.

hold power and home key at the same tim until it reboots itself
