can you apply for a passport without putting father's info?

i don't know his info. i'm 19. thanks

    Yes...this happens. Just leave it blank...and when you take your application to the post office to submit it,ask about this...if you need to write any explanation.

    Passports want to know everything about you and your family, just give them as much info as they ask, and explain if your father is divorced from your mom or deceased. If divorced, you may have to contact your dad for information they are asking of. Good Luck
