do baseball teams ever cancel their games in advance?
because i am going to fenway park tomorrow and Danny the hurricane is suppose to be hitting boston at the time of the game and i was wondering if they would cancel a day ahead or not. because i live in connecticut and i didnt want to drive all the way there just for it to be cancelled

You'll sometimes see them cancelled the day of the game, if extreme weather conditions would make the game unplayable.

If it's a real bad situation like the Hurricane u are mentioning about I would like to believe they would cancel ahead of time. Only thing i can suggest at this time is to call the team's number & ask what the situation is concerning the game tomorrow. Good luck & hope you get to see your game.

They usually wait till the day of the game or when the field becomes un playable. I wouldn't go unless you had expensive, good seats because it wouldnt be worth driving all the way there and back in that weather.
