Could this be skin cancer?

I have a light brown, very hard to see it, mole on the back of my right leg. It has been there for some time and has not changed. The edges are a bit jagged. It is about a half and inch long and about one quarter inch wide. I am going to get it checked out. Should I be real worried that is cancer.

You are right to get it checked, although with skin cancers they look for moles that have changed in shape, size or colour. Also they will want to know if it is itching or painful, or if it has been bleeding. Hope this helps.

not at all, it can be removed through surgery. Had two skin cancer surgeries and it was a piece of cake. Just get it checked.
