You were right to block him for now. You both need time to heal. He is reacting to his hurt with anger. As time goes on, if neither of you gets spiteful, you will come to peace with one another. Just trust yourself and your decision, and don't allow the situation to turn ugly. I wish you peace.

I doubt that he don't care. Maybe he was just putting that on there to let you think he could be happy without you. But breakups are alway difficult so i doubt he meant it when he said he didnt care.
