i have heard this song many times before and decided to download it so i typed  the main lyrics [ain't no mountain high enough ain't no valley low ain't no river...] i knew in google and a number of different artists came up

can somebody tell me the original person who 1st sang it?

and all of the people who have covered the song since?

and which version do you guys think is the best?

I read the thing for accuracy and it is all right. For some reason, no one cares about who wrote the thing. There is a notation at the bottom for 2 of the 4 songwriters.

Marvin Gaye is the best version, whatever you do don't get the Michael McDonald version it will make your ears bleed!

Marvin and Tammi Terrell also do the original version, it was written by someone else though.

Well, Christians seem to think that the government can create a force-field or something that keeps "him" out of the schools and other places. Either that, or "he" has no power over a piece of legislation. Amazing huh?
