home phone like a cell phone, with pics, text, and all?
I would like a land line (and I am willing to change service provider) with all the whistles and bells of a cell phone, with pics, text, internet, voice mail, and the whole nine yards -- anyone know of such?

Doesn't exist.
Land lines can only support 56k download speeds. That would be very PAINFUL for pics. Ask anybody who uses dial-up for Internet access. It ain't fun.
More importantly, the technology isn't set up to do any of those things (except voice mail, of course).
Please understand, it's not a matter of there being no PHONE that does these things - the phone network itself is NOT set up to do all of that. While it would be technically possible to upgrade it, the cost would be horrendous, and I doubt anybody thinks there is enough demand to make it worthwhile.

If you're at home, you're sitting in front of it. With a little extra hardware and software, it can even do voice calls.
