whats with the cynical and vague answers on the fish section?

I don't really know except some people try to answer questions that they really don't have a clue? Perhaps? After over twenty years dealing woth fish, i can only offer my experiences. I don't say I'm an expert and I'm not.

In my experience, good tanks mates for tiger barbs are other tiger barbs. These are schooling fish and need large shcools to be happy. kept single or in pairs they can turn aggressive. But, see? That's my experience talking. Others may have different experiences..but never neon's!

Since magic man 116 copperhead and mantra went the answers have just gone down Hill i think the only exception is a few of the good answers still on here like catx and a few others i have forgotten but she springs to mind and her answers are really good!

The only good answerers that are left include the likes of Catx, tikitiki, parachromis, ghapy etc. There are a few others however the majority of people don't seem to know what they're doing, trolls also seem to be commonplace.

Because YA awards 2 points to ANY answer.

That encourages people to just send any random info.

Sometimes I wonder how they manage to turn their comuters on, maybe their caregivers at the special needs home do it for them?

It doesn't take long to sort out whoactually knows what they are talking about.

i'm uncertain there would nicely be one in each of those ingredient as ultimate type. isn't it a count of very own determination as to what's considered "ultimate"? There are people who ought to basically answer questions in specific categories, working example, desktops & information superhighway, client Electronics. For them, those may be the final categories. I answer in particular in some categories: in 3 or 4 of the Yahoo products categories, well-being & well-being, nutrition & Drink. those, to me, are the final. So "ultimate" could ought to be a guy or woman ingredient.

agree with top answer! but think also clown loaches and barbs can live together just fine if u have a group of 5 or more barbs

about your question: You have quite a specific setup already, not a big tank so variety is limited, tricky semi aggressive fish stocking it already above 50%. What to suggest you? Not much. ;-) I am afraid you are on your own to experiment
