what do the kids in the little league world series get for playing in it?

A lifetime of incredible memories. Also probably a ton of handouts from the sponsors and stuff. I played in a regional version of the little league world series and we were given free stuff from the sponsors and all sorts of memorabilia. We also were treated to free movie nights, free trips to the community pool, all sorts of stuff like that. But the biggest thing is the memories of playing in an incredible event and hanging out with your team. Even if you go without a win you look back and can only remember the excitement of playing in the event. It is just awesome, the atmosphere, the energy, everything.

Nope! They should be not be paid at all who cares about corporate sponsors or the money the Little League makes because of it. What makes the Little League World Series so great is that the kids are playing because they love the game, they're not playing for any type of money and they should not be paid. I thought that ESPN brought out poor taste with saying that they deserved some of the money that was being brought in. It's not labor for the kids that play its because they love playing.

Well George Lopez said he would buy itouchs if some texas team won, but they don't get anything like that.

A big banner to fly over their home stadium or field.

Just the fun of it and the satisfaction and pride if they win.
