Do you think this would be weird?

I don't think its weird at all. I mean, we all have our types that we are interested in (whether it be punk, preppy, goth, etc), so its perfectly fine if you dated a punk girl. Just because you wear a specific brand of clothing, doesn't restrict you from dating someone that doesn't wear that style of clothing (or is into that type of stuff).

My answer is no because you have your style and she has hers. It's normal to date someone that is different, if anything it's good because then you have something to talk about. True, two people who have the same styles and interests may be good for a while but after some time they get old. I dated this girl who was a hardcore goth chick and I was just a metal fan. I didn't have black all around me and I didn't want it either. We had very different interests and styles but that gave us something to talk about and try with other. Don't feel weird because of your clothes or what you like. A girl, regardless of her interests being different than yours, won't think you're weird. If she likes you enough she will want to share your interests with you. So you get on out there and be who you are and be proud of who you are because if she sees that in you, she'll be turned on by that confidence you have within you. Good Luck!

Basically, if people aren't okay with it, it's a stereo type. So beat that stereo type, and like who ever attracts you.

Clothing shouldn't have anything to do with the way you feel about someone. No matter how big the difference. And if anyone says anything to you, it's none of their business anyways. So just forget about them, because your real friends will stick by you when your happy no matter how embarrassing it may be. But i think you should go for it :)
