How much ice can you eat in a day without getting water intoxication?

I know it takes more time for your body to use water when it's too cold or too hot because it has to bring it to a better temperature so it'd probably be easier to get water intoxication from ice than normal water, but could I eat a 16 pound bag of it?

Update:

I LOVE ice, trust me there will be absolutely nothing keeping me from eating all of it in one day, it doesn't hurt my teeth or my throat or anything so I'm just curious if it could be at all bad for me

Eating ice is really bad for your teeth. A dentist once told me that it's like eating rocks. I'm sure shaved ice or ice chips is probably ok. A 16 lb bag of ice is probably equivalent to several gallons of water. You are prone to water intoxication if you don't pee. Water in, water out you would probably not get water intoxication.

by the time the "ice" reaches ur stomach, it will b warm water, because u have to chew the ice blocks to small pieces and that would already melt them in ur mouth. unless u blend the iceblock into tiny chards and scull it. the pain from ur throat will stop u b4 u finish sculling all 16 pounds of it

....i've never even heard of water intoxication before. ...unless it was poisoned...

Your stomach can only hold about 2 liters (1/2 a gallon) or, in the extreme, it can expand to accomodate 4 liters (1 gallon).

So your stomach would actually rupture or 'burst' before you could get any sort of ...intoxication...if intoxication from water is even possible.

All in all, i wouldnt reccomend trying it.
