  • What is the significance of this shirt? I want to buy it for a friend and I think it's a Fiji Rugby shirt or Soccer?

    www.ebay.com/itm/Fiji-Mens-Polo-Shirt-British-Flag-Traditional-Crest-Blue-Splash-/141392621886?pt=US_CSA_MC_Shirts&hash=item20eba8313e

I like the style, but I can't tell if it's for a sport or a tourist item.

  • I have a 1st Gen Ipod nano 1G not really working on ebay & some guy really wants to buy it $40, why?

Pulled it out of a drawer and listed it for a starting bid of 10 cents for laughs.

I was very clear in my description that it comes on, plays, buttons sort of work when they feel like it, the screen is dim and doesn't light up any more even though you can see it, of course it's worthless in the dark.

I also included pictures of the original unit being charged, front and back and deleted the stock photo ebay tries to get me to use because it's deceptive. Mine is not perfect like the picture.

The guy asking me to sell it to him for $40 after I change it to a 'buy it now'. His feed back is flawless and he buys more than he sells, but what he does sell it the exact same item, a Gen7 ipod's.

Why would someone find this valuable?

    Thanks for your help.

  • What would you buy for your mom at a booth selling jams, jellies and baked items?

This is an event I am participating in the day before Mother's day. I'm thinking brunch stuff, a few coffee cakes, quick bread and maybe some cupcakes. I will also be selling a 'pancakes in a jar' for morning breakfasts for Mom.

    What else sounds good?

  • I need a good hard floor vaccum that doesn't create a blow back of dust, dirt etc?

I have cats and a dog, sweeping caused a lot of dirt to fly around. I have tile and hardwood floors that I would like to vaccum daily. This would be most rooms including the kitchen. I mop a lot so a dry/wet would be OK. Does any one have experience with a unit they like and can reccommend? I'm not looking for super expensive either, please.

  • qr code issues on business cards or other small items?

I have an issue where the simple QR code on my business cards is not being read. I think I know the answer but I would like some clarification so I can make the correct changes.

The square is a little less than 1'X1' my 3G Iphone won't read it, but will read other sizes fine.

Is this too small? Is it my phone's camera?

Also, there is a glittery finish on my cards and I'm thinking the texture isn't helping.

I'm designing my cards myself so I can make adjustments. There is a little bit of wiggle room if I need to make the square a bit larger. I don't want to have to go too large so the square overwhelms the whole card.

Any input will be extremely helpful. I'm going to try and make a jpg I can upload with the shiny finish.

  • Craigslist catagories for planning your wedding or event - where do you look first?

I have a very cute home made item to offer as favors for sale in my area. I don't want to oversaturate the list or make people mad by over posting.

What section do you look to first for products and services? I was thinking household services and or events first?

    Thanks millions for your help!

  • question for those in states where you can legally sell your food goods?

Our govenor in CA is getting ready to sign bill AB1616 in the next week or so. It will make it legal to sell certian foods from home kitchens. It's fairly limited to baked goods, jams, jellies, chutneys, dried mixes and spices but a creative cook can make it work.

My question to those of you whose states have similar laws and are selling things from your home kitchen.

How brutal is the inspection prior to getting your license? I know you can't have pets or small children around while you are making your goods and I'm sure I will have to go to a food handling class which I am fine with. I would like to hear some success stories or maybe not.

    Thanks

  • chicken tamales with whole chicken bones? What's up?

My daughters boyfriend - not Mexican - brought some over made by one of his brother's friends. In 2 of the tamales were whole chicken thigh bones, meat removed. As well as chicken meat.

I make tamales once in awhile and I am not Mexican either, but this seems odd to me.

Were the preparers lazy? Is this some kind of 'recipe' or technique?

They weren't very good, bland masa, bland chicken and the bones made them even worse?

    Am I missing something?

  • Question for Muslim folks regarding etiquette after a death in the family?

My daughters boyfriends father just passed away. We are non-Muslim and I am totally in the dark as to whether it is appropriate to offer a dish for her to bring for the family and friends who are filing in by the numbers to his home to pay their respects.

I would be so appreciative of any one who can offer advice if the offering of food or another gesture is appropriate.

    Thanks!

  • removing nasty browser hijacker cloudcellurl.com?

Affects google searches and redirects me to sites I don't want to see. Part of it started out as having an issue with a nasty browser hacker redirecting using 'flurrysearch' which seems to be gone after hours of researching and applying many, many steps to get rid of it.

What remains is this cloudcellurl which will not go away. It also shuts down the browser if I try to go to a yahoo.com site of any kind of yahoo site when using a Foxfire browser.

(right now I am typing in Google chrome because it doesn't seem to affect it at all).

    Please help if you can

I am using Windows 7 on a 1+ year old Toshiba laptop

    This is so annoying!

  • Versace knock off I'm pretty sure?

    http://www.animalsupplyintl.com/versace knock off.jpg

I know that a true designer label should be intact and the stitching very high quality. There is no label in the neck and the stitching is good but I wouldn't say over the top in thread quality etc.

There is no label except for a frayed laundry label in the lower side seam. It is in excellent condition, but by the condition of the label it's obvious it's been laundered or dry-cleaned.

What doesn't come across on the photo is that the design on the front is glittery.

Did Versace make an original of this top? It's not something I would wear and I'm going to sell it on ebay.

My Chinese co-worker gave this to me - he travels back and forth to China for the company we work for and his wife is kind of hooked on designer labels however I don't think she's against knock-offs.

  • Best way to level a dirt section without a rototiller?

I have a fairly small irregular section of dirt about 20 square feet or so. I've spent the last six weeks killing the Bermuda grass and it is finally all dead and I can start moving the dirt around.

The problem is that the ground is very uneven. There are some raised areas and some indented areas. Should I turn it to mud and then move the loose soil around?

The dirt is quite hard underneath a fine powdery soil.

  • The taste of fresh corn in your area - Opinions please?

Corn is at the peak of the season around the end of June around here and is full force till mid August. I am seeing fresh corn already in the stores and priced like it would be in the middle of Summer.

How many have tried it and what did you think?

    Sweet, dry, flavorless?
