Duriel, I too am a college student. Maybe you read the question wrong. And there are policy changes I have found that affect muslim and arabs alike. Late 2008 the Justice Department passed a policy that allowed F.B.I. to investigate Americans regardless of evidence of wrong-doing, instead relying on terrorist profile that would single out Muslim and Arab people! I only chose your answer as best answer b/c I wanted you to know this. And I too am a college major. Psychology!

Firstly, do you understand what a policy is?
There are no policies in the US that discriminates Muslims from non-Muslims as to how they should be treated.
And why would your class give you such a question? Its quite provoking. If it is your own, it is better to change the topic.

Um there is no law that says muslims cant use public transportation or anythin liek that however its especially visible in big cities adn sky scrapers when there is security. Statisticaly speekign ALOT more persian peopel get checked then any other race. Its completely legal if they check a white dude every once in a while
