Have you ever been tested for anemia? Here's some info on it: https://www.google.com/health/ref/Anemia. I know that a major symptom can be light headedness.

It could also be caused by low blood pressure. I would definitely seek a second opinion from a doctor. Obviously you're not getting adequate blood circulation to your brain and it's causing you these problems.

It's called a head rush. Everybody gets them. It happens if you stand up to fast or after sitting for awhile. It can be as bad as nearly fainting to shake your head and good to go. It's completely normal and as far as I know everyone has it from time to time. Headrushes, atleast for me, occur much more often when i'm sick with just about anything, even headaches. Headrush is just blood rushing to the brain when you stand up. My mom, who is 45, still had them. You don't grow out of them. Just don't sit up fast and when you go to walk start easy.
