macbook pro apple care protection plan!?

ok, so i just bought a macbook pro. i decided to purchase the 3 year warranty and stuff. it showed up on my receipt but after getting home, i realized i dont have the little apple care box: (like the one shown in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQlspVCFFPc ) Do they usually give you the little box?what's in it?or is the receipt enough to show for the warranty?

Its my first mac purchase, soo im a tad confused.

Thanks

sounds like you bought it from an apple store, so they may have just forgotten to give you the box. why not just call and find out what's up?

If you bought it at an Apple Store, it's automatically associated w/ your computer on the receipt. However, they are supposed to give you a box that contains TechTool Deluxe; it's part of purchasing the Applecare.

Just bring your receipt back to the store and tell them you didn't get the AppleCare box. I'd be surprised if they didn't apologize and give you the box.

if i remember correctly it had some paper in it explaining how to go online and activate your account.

Hurry over to the mac store and talk to them. they will be a lot more helpful.
