What entitles a math contributor to be declared as a Top Contributor?
That is a given. But some of the top math contributors have far lesser no. of points than some regular contributors who are not "decorated ".
Why the discrepancy ?
Is there some procfdure one has to follow to be declared as such ?

A lot of good answers in the Mathematics section. The same as any other top contributor for their category.

Answer what they know .
follow the rules of conduct.
Avoid what you are not shure of.
