1. Bulldogs
2. Souths
3. Cowboys
4. Tigers
Top 4 defensive teams are:
1. St George
2. Storm
3. Bulldogs
4. Titans
The 4 worst defensive teams are:
1. Roosters
2. Broncos
3. Penrith
4. Sharks
Worst 4 attacking teams are:
1. Sharks
2. Roosters
3. Warriors
4. Knights
Bulldogs are the only team to make top 4 in both attack and defence (no surprise) but I was surprised that the Storm are 2nd in defence and that the Broncos have the 2nd worst defence in the league.

I think it's sad that only one of the top four attacking sides will be playing finals footy.

Only the fact that the Broncos are in the top 4 'worst defensive team' list mate. Because they are known to be the best in the NRL. So yeah thats my thinking!

I just hope the Dogs can improve that defence stat.
Had a few concerns once Noddy left the field last week, need to tighten our defence in the coming weeks.
Still happy to see us make AND win the GF.

I see that only 3 teams still in contention for the final 8 - Eels, Panthers & Sea Eagles - don't appear in any of the lists. Shows what a patchy season they have all had.

It doesn't surprise me at all that boys made the worst attacking team. they have been rather disappointing this year but I still have high hopes that they can turn their season around next year!

Great question and great stats - makes you think!! Perhaps we can go one further and compile a list of clubs affected by woeful referring decisions this season - I am sure the Tigers, Cronulla and cowboys would top this list.
