sensitive teeth/gums?, help?
Okay so in between these two molars, it has been somewhat sore. (Sometimes like after i eat or floss i will feel it but other times I don't really feel anything) Sometimes when i floss in between them it bleeds and food has tendency to get caught in between. Both teeth from the outside look fine but I have no idea if the gums or the teeth are the problem. I floss every night and i find it abnormal that in between these two teeth it has tendency to bleed at times. I don't have that problem on the other side and I do wear a retainer which the bar on the retainer does go in between those two teeth (Don't know if that may have any effect)
I'll probably go for a checkup and the dentist soon but has anyone had anything like this?
I have had this problem for about a month or so
My wisdom teeth are not in yet, i don't know if that may be causing it but i dont feel it on the other side
Yes i sleep with the retainer in , its just weird i dont have the same problem on the other side.
And i'll have to try Sensodyne

that retainer can cause it..do you sleep with it because it hurt me
also do you grind your teeth when you sleep??
You can try sensodyne or another brand of sensitive toothpaste
and take vitamin c..it goes to the gums and reduces swelling which could be the source of pain
good luck

I have the same problem dude after i got my braces off is when it happened my orthrodontis doesnt see a problem either my dentist said my gum is too big for my mouth by a slight and they can remove a uscel to give more room but im not gonna do that, when i eat stuff like ribs it gets stuck and would hurt hella alot and i would want my retainer, you can reduce sensitivity by probably using oragel, flushing with warm salt water, brushing gently on your gum to relieve it hope it helps dude and good luck
