Which color should I choose for an accent wall?

I want to paint an accent wall in our bathroom. Because of the tile color I want a burnt orange/clay type color. I've narrowed it down to two choices but am having a hard time picking so I want input! Here is a link to pictures.

Each color has three pictures

Picture 1: against the tile floor

picture 2: against the counter top

picture 3: against the wall color & white door trim

Baseboards and doors are white. Cabinet is white. Cabinet pulls, towel hooks/bars, toilet paper holder are black. Faucets & door handles are silver. I love the metallic shine of the copper gleam but am worried it might be too much?

I love the copper! It looks like it will bring out the colors in the tile wonderfully. The sheen is actually very fitting for a bathroom - think water, reflective...hopefully it will catch some light as well! I don't think it will be too much considering you are only doing an accent wall...so just pic the right wall and you are good to go! If you are worry the cooper is a risk, then take this risk because I would be upset if you didn't!

If you end up not liking the paint job afterward, the copper will definitely add a luminous effect to whatever color you cover it with...but now that I have mentioned luminous - just think of lighting candles in the bathroom and taking a long bath. I think I have said enough! : )

I think Taupe would be a good color for the walls with either teal or purple for an accent wall and the trim. Find a fabric with purple & taupe & teal for the curtains/drapes. It makes me think of the color combination of peacock feathers. Silver or pewter accents in the lighting, frames, and hardware on furniture would give elegance without too much fuss. A couple of the frames could have purple matting that ties into the sofa and the artwork. A couple of pillows should be textured but solid purple and/or teal. Make sure there is some of drapery fabric left for pillows also.

I love the copper! It goes great with the floor, counter, and trim! The other color is too dark.

I love the copper one too. It won't be too much on just one wall especially if you plan to hang art or a mirror on it.

Try using this. You choose the main wall color by selecting Wall color, and the accent color by selecting, well, accent color!

I've been messing around with it lately to help me decide how I should paint my room!
