Where is the outrage toward the president at the American deaths in Afghanistan?

From NBC's Courtney Kube and Jim Miklaszewski

August has been the deadliest month for the U.S. military in the entire Afghanistan war.

As of this afternoon, 51 American service members have been killed in Afghanistan this month. That breaks the previous record set only last month when 45 Americans were killed in July.

With four months to go, this is also already a record year for American casualties in Afghanistan -- 182 U.S. service members have been killed so far this year, compared to last year's 155.

I didn't know libs were against Afghanistan, just Iraq. They aren't the same country you know?

I didn't like Iraq, but I did believe Afghanistan was where we belonged. And that's probably why I didn't like us splitting off for a vengeance killing of saddam.

You still don't know the difference between fighting a legitimate war against an avowed enemy like Osama bin Laden vs. fighting an unnecessary war based on lies do you? That's why you guys are out of power by the way.

Who started the surge? And who sent troops there in the first place? Mr Bush.

Afghanistan is where our troops should have been. The US had no real reason to invade Iraq when/how it was done.

Why is there not more outrage against Bush for BEING in Iraq ?

Afghanistan is another war -- don't confuse yourself -- that is where bin Laden was (many years ago) -- if we hadn't wasted so much time in Iraq, we might have found him
