senior pictures and senior YEARBOOK pictures?

they're different, right?

because i read some people saying that if you don't take senior

pictures, then you won't be in the yearbook.

but it thought that if you took YEARBOOK pictures, then you would.

because in my yearbook, under the senior class, its all pictures

of the seniors in a normal school-like shot (head shoulders, plain

backround).

these arent the 'senior photos' right?

because i dont wanna spend 300 dollars for someone to take photos

of myself, when i could do that everyday. not that i do. xD

so whats the point of senior pictures?

so you can 'remember the memories and capture the essence of the way you were when you were a senior?'

um. no thank you.

im pretty sure i have enough pictures right now to help me

remember what i look like now when im 75.

well at my school we take a senior yearbook picture that when you dress up and get a picture done but its only from maybe the waist up. Then at the end of the yr we go get senior pictures with maybe 3 different outfits and its full body adn very beautiful. but all your senior picture they make beautiful our school has set up deals with a local photographer so we get yearbook picture free and its just so our yearbook pictures look better than everyone else.

Senior pictures are professionally done, you choose outfits, get hair and make up done, and you can choose backgrounds. The photographers help you look your best and can position your body to help you look better. Senior yearbook pictures are professionally done in a cap and gown as well as a drape. Most schools offer it at school if you don't want to go out and get it done professionally but either way it will cost money. I'm also not big on the whole memories thing, but I like the idea of getting my picture taken and looking pretty and stuff..I mean these are also pictures you can hand out to family and friends to remember each other by.

I don't know how your school works, but at my high school, our senior picture WERE our yearbook pictures. They were done professionally in a studio rather than in the gym in front of a background screen like the underclassmen got, and you had to schedule your own appointment with the photographer.

But, we had the option of getting just the yearbook package, or the full package. The yearbook package was 3 frames of a single pose, and cost $50. You picked your best frame for the yearbook and got a certain number of copies for yourself in two sizes. The full package was 5 frames each of 3 poses, cost $200, and you could change outfits if you wanted to. You picked your yearbook photo, and could get the others in various sizes for yourself.

Most people went for the full package, because it was a pretty good deal on professional photos.

  • At my school they didn't take yearbook pictures like they do for every other year. At the senior pictures they took a shot that they submitted to the yearbook, but it was different than the other poses of the senior pictures.

Okay, please don't take this the wrong way... I just want to be honest and save you from possible ridicule. You should either wait for the senior pics or crop this one to only show your arms up to your head and some of the breathtaking background. The reason for this... your are out in nature and in a squatting position, looks a little like you're taking care of business if you know what I mean. Someone may think this is a bit funny. Sorry. Again, I just wanted to be honest.
