Serena, an easier road?

With Vania King upsetting Stosur, and Bammer losing in first round, do you think Serena will have an easier time now? She lost to Bammer a couple weeks ago despite not feeling well, hurting, and stosur has a huge huge game and beat Serena as well. She was to face Bammer in 3rd round and stosur in 4th. Seems things got a bit easier now for her...I would hope. Thoughts?

People have to understand something that when certain players are defeated, it doesnt necessarily mean that the road becomes easier.

Either a.) Stosur wasnt playing well which means Serena would have beat her easily anyway or b.) Vania King played better.

So..great, Stosur is out. But now Serena has to play Vania, who obviously didnt defeat Stosur on luck.

not necessarily she is still most likely to face Hantuchova in the fourth round, who I think is just as capable as Stosur..

as for her third round, Serena played Martinez Sanchez at the French Open, and they played a close 3 set match..
