Need some ideas on how to handle stupid people...?

I thought just reading the question, not the expanded text - that you meant generally, not just here on Answers - in which case my answer is 'smile'. On account of it being here on Answers, the response I would give is to mete out sound advice exercising endless patience & glowing confidence - it is they who falter and have their eyes opened to a persistently better course of action in these circumstances - simply be a very good communicator, if necessary researching a single answer's tiniest increment - a single word - for the best usage and placement.

I answered one the other day after clicking the link to 'I need help with a song' & was mildly amused to see the expanded text just said,

"it goes like duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh ai ai ai duh nuh nuh nuh nuh ai ai ai ai"....

So instead of disregarding it as completely pointless, I responded saying,

"Maybe try going more like - duh duh nuh nuh nuh nuh.... cheowwww, duh duh nuh nuh nuh nerrrrrr - woooooooo".

It's as simple as that - if you think of something to say and it's still in context and will not offend - or if it's sound advice that will level someone's head and make better sense, no matter how austere - then post it - be sure to have people's best interests in mind As a last resort ignoring the post[er] and as a last ditch attempt using another profile to continue using Answers unbeknown to those giving your original username unwanted attention...

Simply do as I do....pick and choose which ones you want to answer. The same questions get asked here over and over....nothing you can do about it except decide if you want to answer or not!
