I bought some marigold seeds and planted them this spring. A beautiful plant developed but no flowers why?

Never have had this happen on flowers , but did on veggies. . I'd take a picture of the plant and if you remember the seed company. I'd call a rep. and tell them what is going on. You might even get a replacement pack of seeds sent to you. The seed company may even have you seed one of your plants. This way they can avoid any futher problems.
Did you over fertilize with a high nitrogen type? Did you plant this sun loving plant in the shade?
These could have been also the problem. If not, contact the seed grower.
