Windows explorer has stopped recognizing folders created on my thumb drives?
I have a bunch of different folders on my thumb drive. When I try to upload something, the pop-up menu won't let me open the folder to get to the files in it. It thinks I want the whole folder (which is now a .exe file) to be uploaded. The folders don't show up in Explore when I click on the plus sign next to the drive, though they do show up as being on the drive. When I click on a folder, it opens in a separate window. When I create a new folder, it gets converted too. I've tried this on two different thumb drives, so I know it's not just that. This is getting really frustrating. Can anyone help?

it isn't really clear to me whats happening from your explanation but i do have a suggestion, you could format the drive and start again. you would loose all the data you have on it but it may correct the problem...
best of luck!

Plug your thumbchronic right into a working laptop or pc and open My pc (XP) or pc (Win 7), detect the detachable garagechronic (USB) and suitable click it and decide "format" and which will wipe thechronic of all contents and folders.
