french?!?!????????????????????????!?

Hi! I started French in ninth grade and am now in my first year of college continuing to study it. I LOOOOVVEEE IT! Really, it's not that hard to learn I promise! Your teacher may speak French, but he/she will probably use hand gestures and stuff to help you understand.

Also I'll just add that prior to beginning French I felt the same way. I was thinking of switching into Latin. But I'm glad I didn't!

i've spoken french since i was 5 and i really like it. but it is really confusing. the grammar is sooo hard for me. but i really like the way it sounds. its really pretty and its a romance language so it connects to spanish and italian and a couple others. i think you should take it. i learned it the way you did. a french immersion is what they called it. my friends are learning it this year and they are taking a course called french 1 which is totally for beginners. it might be easier. but i wouldn't know.
