Whats the deal with Whoopi Goldberg and her missing eyebrows?

I believe that she suffers from a common disorder known as Alopecia. It is probably the third most common form of hair loss dermatologists see. The lifetime risk for Alopecia is nearly 2%, or two in every 100 people will get it at some point in their lives. It is NOT contagious; you cannot catch Alopecia from someone who has it. It can affect men, women, and children.
