my boss wrote me a rude letter?
I 'm a manager at taco bell and a crew member told my boss a story how I did wrong when really it was the crew member who did wrong and instead of asking me about it my boss wrote me a long rude letter tell me I'm a piece of **** in short terms. now I don't know what to do this letter is the worst thing anyone has ever said to me and I didn't do anything wrong.

Trust me. Taco bell is not an irreplaceable employer.
You are getting unneccesarily hung up in the details as most people do.
If the letter was really that bad, then what your boos is really doing is inviting you to find other employment elsewhere.
learn to read between the lines.
Find a new job
Feel better.
Source(s): Somewhere in the anals of a Macys archive basement there is form of voluntary termination with my name on it: In the line where the form query's "why" I penned in in big cursive lettering "because I can" Knowing when to quit a job can be as valuable as knowing what job offers to accept. Seriously. - 1 decade ago
Ok, so all of you guys saying , "boo hoo, taco bell," and "find another job, quit" i guess you live in your own little world where jobs are plenty???? whoever said contact HR is correct. it doesn't matter whether the boss likes or dislikes you, they can't do that. there is a proper chain of punishment for any job you have, whether its a verbal warning, or written and documented, and i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that this letter didn't get documented by your boss?? don't quit your job, even if its crappy, its too hard to find jobs now to just throw one away, the crappy jobs are your stepping stone, and you may need it on a resume someday, even if its just to show how long you stuck with it! and being as its a management position, its even better for you. good luck,(who cares that its fast food) i hope it all works out for you!

Confront your boss and bring the one responsible for causing the trouble for you and have it out with them. Unless you are afraid of being terminated. Then wait to see whether it doesn't go any further.
Should you get terminated, get witnesses that know for a fact you did
not do any wrong doing.
Should you get terminated, you can take your case to court for wrongful discharge and pumitive damages for the stress relating to the cause of your termination.
Or take it to the parking lot after work.i hope your Boss is civilized and he'll listen and discipline the piece of **** in short terms.
good luck!!

dude quit that job. your boss jumps to conclusions and cant even find the time to talk to his manager but can find the time to talk to a complete loser who is only skilled to work the drive through at taco bell.which is irisponsible. plus he is to much of a coward to talk to you.send him a letter saying all of the things i have said about him.
PS:btw you can get a job as manager with a backround as a recent manager.the only problem is that your interviewers have to consult youre old boss about how good you did last time. make sure in the interview that you tell him why y had to quit.

maybe the member who told ur boss actually wrote the letter so that you would quit and that person gets the place.
so dont think about it too much and just get some rest.
also talk to your boss.

Take this to your boss's boss and explain everything.. Tell them you are very insulted and you can't even go talk to your boss because you are very offended. Goodluck
