why do people act weird during the full moon?

yes more crime and things around the full moon? ever hear the term lunatic? that's what they call a crazy person? in latin it means luna=moon tic=madness or moon madness!! must be some logic there somewhere? others notice it too?

People act weird all the time, however when it is a full moon and people act weird they see the weirdness and the full moon and correlate them together. When people act weird and no full moon they do not correlate them together [as how can you correlate something to nothing] and just attribute it to random weirdness. Some examples crime actually goes down during a full moon (crooks don't like light), and there are actually less accidents as the light helps people to see.

The Chinese is the busiest people when an eclipse happens. They have so many belief about the occurrence of eclipse like their belief in Feng Shui. Feng Shui is their reference in "what to do" when eclipse happens. Chinese is not the only one who are busy when eclipse hits but those who are uneducated especially in rural areas and people who believes such beliefs.

Such beliefs includes the occurrence of werewolves, crime rate increases and much more.

There is good reason to believe that people's personalities do change around the time of the full moon, not because of any astronomical force, but because it creates the optimum lighting conditions for feeling carefree and mischievous.
