I was a caregiver for my mother and my my aunt fraudulently recieved compensation?

I have an appointment with my mom's case manager through the insurance company and an auditor. She called me back today and informed me that she wouldn't know until the investigation is closed. I have a feeling shes leading me on to get the information out of me for many acts of insurance (all of which I have commited nothing illegal but have just the knowledge of). Could I still recive the compensation?

Were not talking a few hundreds bucks were talking THOUSANDS of dollars. I worked for 16 hours a day for almost three months straight. WHen she fied the paperwork she recieved a check for 5,600 AFTER

taxes and only claimed a portion of the proper time just to give you a hint.

Update:

At the time she didn't require alot of monitoring. Then she went awall on her meds and lost track of time and where she was. VERY similar to alhyzhemir

Update 2:

At the time she didn't require alot of monitoring. Then she went awall on her meds and lost track of time and where she was. VERY similar to someone with dementia or alzhymers. When she first came home from the hospital she asked me to fill out the sign the forms but I adamantly refused and tore it up.

What caused me to become a whistle blower is she is now fraudulently claiming mileage through the insurance company and claiming to take my paralyzed g/f out shopping and taken advantage of her medical condition and our situation. I just wish that she would consider coming down here and stop thinking the Insurance company owes her money!!! All I wish for is her to be supervised and cared for like she should and STOP being so greedy. My aunt screwed me over out of thousands upon thousands of dollars.

You need to call a lawyer. I am in nursing and this is FRAUD. you can not only sue your aunt for doing this she will also SERVE TIME IN JAIL for fraud if found guilty,There are lawyers working in these "case management" teams but they are there for the local government and private agencies and not for you, you'll need a private lawyer to sue her.

It sounds dirty. Either you were defrauding the insurance company or not. It's hard to tell from your comments. If you did nothing wrong, don't worry about it. If you did, you not only will not get compensation, you can go to jail. Good luck if you're being honest.
