How about Tristan for a boy? It sounds fairly modern and unusual but not too much and Tristan was a night of the round table which makes it a very old name :)

I'm stuck for ideas for a girl. I'm hoping I have a boy because I'll be stuck for weeks trying to find a girls name I like!

Hm. I've grown up with an unusual name, so here are some unusual names that you might like.

Bridey (what I was going to be called), Angel, Elixia, Dafodil (the meaning of the name is Death, so maybe not, but it's a nice name), Berry, Minoru, Kagomi, Konata.

maybe you two should use family names.

if you like modern & he likes traditional why not use one of each (one of first & one for middle) or even hyphenate 2 names you both like.

    good luck!
