On Fallout 3 i downloaded broken steel and got the puppies perk and just found out that if you do that i won't be able to get a follower with me even if the puppy is at vault 101. Is there a way to hire a follower besides the puppy.
I can't get more than 1 follower in the game and no one is following me

No there is no way once you get it. The good thing is Dogmeat can take out a super mutant behemoth by himself when you are at that high of a level. Dogmeat levels with you so he is stronger than you and is the hardest NPC to kill. So just take advantage of him and let him go to work and just mop up all the enemies he hurts.

kill dogmeat then hire the 2n one then when he coes bak hire him or send him bak to vault 101 but u shud hire him cause it means 3 followers

Dogmeat is a unique follower, you can also have one human follower.
