what can i feed my puffer fish to file down his teeth?
the pet stores around here don't have snails or ghost shrimp. he eats crab but doesn't bite the shell.

you don't need ghost shrimp you can just buy raw shrimp at the grocery store (with the shell on of course) and feed him those. you can also feed him cooked crawfish. (i wouldn't recommend giving him live crawfish as they are pretty formidable fighters and could injure your puffer)

, I feed the PUFFER flaked food, sinking mixed wafers for bottom feeders, hikari cichlid food, frozen mosquito larvae, frozen brine shrimp,freeze dried tubifax worms-last three are treats.
