Keep persisting for a job?
I have been looking for a job and I have my heart set on this certain place. I sent in an application a few weeks ago and I still have not received a callback yet. Should I call the place and ask about it or should I let it go?
I have talked to someone who kept persisting about their job and finally got it, so should I do the same?

You must do a follow on all apps you send in.
That lets them know you really want to work there/be heard.
Always make sure to call 3-7 days after app to make sure they either see it or have seen it. and they most likely will tell you on the spot if they want to further the relationship with you.

You you always send in a follow up email and reattach your resume and whatever else info the job application requires about a week later. It's really tough getting a job right now, believe me. But if you are persistent and prove that you are the best candidate then it will eventually happen. Just remember to always follow up. Good Luck!
