The difference between the UH-1 (Huey) and the AH-1 (Cobra), is the Huey is a utility helicopter, and the Cobra is an attack helicopter. They were the first of their kind, hence the one in the official names. The Huey carries troops, supplies, and is used as a utility all around aircraft. The Cobra is the guns. They are called in for air-support, convey support, what have you that would need air support. The Cobra and Huey are still used by the Marine Corps.

A Huey is Utility Helicopter -- cargo.
The Cobra was an Assault Helicopter, specifically designed for attacking ground targets.
Both were made by Bell Helicopter, both are near the end of their service lives. (The UH-60 Blackhawk has taken the Huey's place; The AH-64 Apache has taken the place of the Cobra.)

I think the UH-1 came into service in the late 50's-early60's.
The AH-1 came into service about 1965-66.
They are both very long in the tooth......

Andre is the only one who didn't screw up key details or demonstrate a completely flawed understanding of helicopters.
