Name idea for a depressive suicidal black metal project.?
I've more or less decided on the name Ebon Moon for my depressive suicidal black metal project, as it symbolizes having no guiding light during your darkest hours. But I just want to know if you all think the name fits the genre well, or if maybe it just hits a special chord with me.
Really what I'm asking for here is your opinion of my project name based on it's subject matter, which is depression and suicide.

What black metal are you listening to, sir? While that is one characteristic of more modern black metal, as far as I've know black metal from the earlier first and second wave bands, it as almost always been about the darker side of things. Any fan should know that black metal has been just as much, if not more so, about the message than it has the music. So while bands such as Taake or others similar are blackish and enjoyable, I would never consider them black metal. And as much as "true" fans seem to like to bash DSBM as "emo garbage" with no place in the black metal community, it fits the billet a lot better than the more popular bands of the underground. I guess it works. Don't think what others will say about it, it's your band. Personally, it reminds me of a death metal band called Ebonmortis.

Pretty good for me, somewhat songs from this genre has that feeling that kinda tickles your spine in a creepy way (and that's good) BQ: I just got to know this band quite recently, Lethal Diabolic, and so far they sound pretty okay, better than some bands I listen to. (not suicidal, just depressive black metal)
