How do I post an active link in my answers?
Every time I try to add a link to an answer, the link becomes inactive. What am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong - level 1 cannot post active links - Yahoo made these changes recently to stop spam advertisers posting them.
When you reach level 2 and above you can do it :)

Because of spam users at level one can not post links that work.
What you can do is post it and than people can copy and paste it in to there browser.
