Is Congress going to far about fining Americans if they don't have health care ?
I was just reading an article about Congress' new health reform in Yahoo Finances, and basically to make the long story short, Congress is proposing fines if Americans do not buy health care insurance. Is Congress going to far? Or is this the best decision?

It actually makes sense. if an uninsured driver hits you, you car still have to get fixed right? where does that money come from? so if an uninsured person gets in a car accident, and goes to the ER, he or she will still get treated regardless, but where is that money coming from? so if they get fined, that can cover the cost for when situations like that happen, instead of me having to pay for them

I don't have health insurance because I cannot afford the $1200 per month premium. So how in the hell am I going to pay a $3800 fine? Will I be jailed so that I can then get all the health care I need free along with 3 meals a day all at taxpayers expense? Obama is a moron.

isn't fair for someone who has the opportunity to buy health care but chooses not too and then runs to te emergency room for free treatment either.
some of obamas thoughts are worth looking into. Having health care for everyone, one that is affordable for everyone say a percent of your wages rather than 1200 like the person above stated....

No, not at all. We already fine you for driving without car insurance, how is this any different? If you don't have health insurance, you become a burden on everyone.
