How can you GET/WORK FOR 1 million dollars an hour?

Lottery doesn't count... or robbing banks and stuff like that :).

There is no position with a salary anywhere near that. Top CEOs of multinational companies may get paid more than $10 million per year, but they usually work 9 hours per day. Hourly wage may be around $5,000 per hour for these people. I do not believe any executive has ever been paid so much (including bonuses) that their salary would exceed $250,000 per hour. One investment fund manager had an income of nearly 1 billion in a single year due to the fund's amazing performance, but his salary over the previous and following years was closer to 50 million per year.

It is possible to have a wealth increase of 1 million dollars in an hour through investments in the stock market, if you invest enough (several million dollars). However, the stock market varies every day and is largely unpredictable, so you would be just as likely to lose 1 million dollars in an hour. This is not an income, but rather a change in asset value.

Large investment companies can see their total wealth change by more than 10 million or 100 million in an hour, but they usually have billions of dollars invested. Large changes like this, however, tend to be when there is bad news and thus the investment company loses money. Long Term Capital Management lost $1.85 billion in four months in 1998, for example.

Does not exist. Not even the highest paid athletes or actors make that kind of break down wage.
